kris took these pictures before major’s first practice…he was all about soccer…until today, of course…all he could think about was his party and everyone coming to see him…”mom, i don’t want to play soccer today”…or “i cannot wear this shirt – it is way too big”…

he definitely had some supercute donuts – thanks to my friend becki, gma, & papa maj…

maybe it is inevitable with boys…major was climbing up the back of the couch…

i asked, “what are you doing?” 

he says, “i am exercising.  i need to stretch my legs.”

we received this in the mail recently…major saw it today and pointed to the middle of the field and said, “there is petey”…clearly, kris is brainwashing him…

he takes after his dad – I LOVE that!

he is so proud…

at one point, there is some impressive synchronized spinning…

“The snow is all gone.  Santa put it away.”  Major after examining the front yard

“There are no leaves on our tree.  They fall down.  Did Santa put it away with the snow?”  Major just being Major

“Where is Daddy’s I-pod?  I need to have it.”  Major after Kris left for work this morning

“Major still going poo-poo.”  Major when he is too busy playing to have his diaper changed

“The sun is out.  It is daytime.”  Major when he comes to our room and is ready to start the day

“I am gonna take Avery on a walk around the house.”  Major while holding Avery’s hand

make sure you turn up your volume…she is her father’s daughter, no doubt…

we just did a 13-hour road trip home from el paso…major had a few funnies on the way home…

we were at sonic happy hour…after our carhop delivered our drinks, major stuck his head out of the car and said “hey girl, come over here, come talk to major”…i guess he is starting early…

then we were playing FOREVER IN BLUE JEANS on the road trip, and we said, “who sings this song, major?”  he responded, “papa maj”…we were looking for neil diamond…

we stopped in white sands…it was beautiful…avery was still in nap mode so no good pics of her…we can’t wait to go back, though, for sledding on the sand…happy thanksgiving…we love you…we are truly thankful for life today and especially our family and friends!

i must admit that i have been consumed with another blog lately…consumed with knowing that another baby – not my own – has taken another breath…the dutchers go to church with us…major, especially, asks about baby dutcher and prays for miss anne marie…we are praying that God will give her life today…each day that has been our prayer…
